Who Is Smitty?
Tim Smith is originally from Ivy, Virginia. A few years ago he made the move across the Blue Ridge to take up in the Shenandoah Valley where he lives with the love of his life, her dogs and some other guy’s cat. He is made to eat more vegetables than he feels is reasonable and must snatch fried food on the sly.
Timmy loves his friends dearly and would make them any piece of furniture they asked for. He’s safe saying that here because they call him and to say hi instead of reading about him on the line, so they’ll never see this.
What do you do?
Timmy creates one-of-a-kind pieces to fit design preferences and space requirements. His pine harvest tables and benches are perennial favorites. The pine is treated to withstand the elements, but still take on natural weathering attributes. Tables are available to rent, please inquire
Collier West in Brooklyn carries Tim’s chestnut harvest tables and has sold them from Napa to Aspen to Tribeca. Check out Collier West’s beautiful site on our favorite links.
Timmy also represents Heartpine Company, offering repurposed woods, custom cabinetry and flooring. To find out more about Heartpine look on our links page.
